How to find a pin for bluetooth?

I need to connect my laptop inspirion 9300 with a new blackberry.   Blackberry is asking me to enter a PIN for the bluetooth in my laptop. I have no idea what it is. How can I find it?

You have to establish a PIN code on the Blackberry first.

I wasn't exactly sure what was meant by setting the BlackBerry PIN first so I tried it out and these are the basic steps I took.

You will have to setup the BlueTooth on your laptop and determine what services you want to run. Make sure you enable devices to discover your laptop.

Run the discovery on your BlackBerry and it should find your laptop, it will then prompt you for a PIN, just type in a number sequence (e.g. 0000 or 123456, etc) but make sure to write it down, you will need it later.
You should get a popup window appear on your laptop, if not click on the BlueTooth icon in the System Tray, asking for a code to connect to your BlackBerry. Type in the same number you used above on your BlackBerry.
It should now go away and report a successful pairing. To make things easier in the future on your Blackberry got to Options - Bluetooth and you should see the name of your laptop listed under Paired Devices. Hightlight your laptop and depress the thumbwheel to bring up the menu, then select Device Properties. The screen it brings up will listed the supported services and right below the device name there is a Trusted Flag. If you changed the Trusted Flag to Yes your BlackBerry won't prompt you to permit the Laptop connection everytime.
