Inspiron 9100 - Ethernet Driver - Please Help

I have an Inspirion 9100 and it is not reading the Ethernet driver.
The Dell download page does not list the Ethernet driver.
Please share where I can obtain this driver from.
Thanks

On the download page -

under Network - your ethernet adapter is the Broadcom integrated controller.

Did you just reinstall Windows on this machine?  If so, did you install the chipset drivers before installing any other devices?

If you go into Device Manager and expand the listing for Network Adapters, does th Broadcom Controller show up there?  Are there any other devices listed as problem devices?  What kind of modem are you connecting to, a cable modem or a dsl modem?  If it is a cable modem and you changing the device connnected to it, are you doing a complete reset of the network everytime you make the change?  This is necessary because cable modems remember the last device connected and will not connect to another device until a complete reset is done.  This involves turning everything off, waiting 5 minutes, turning on the modem and waiting a few minutes more, then turning on the computer.

Yes I downloaded the " Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller", and when I connected the cord from the modem to the computer outlet I am unable to access the internet.

Any other suggestions?
