Inspiron n4010 connectivity issues
I've had my Dell for a year, I quite love it, except, lately I've had issues with the internet. About 4 months ago I started having these problems. I would go on internet normally, go on for a few minutes, and the connection was gone, although it showed that I had a full signal, that error message on the page would show up.I even tried connecting it by pluging the Internet wire from the desktop to it. I called Dell service and told them, I stayed on the phone for about 3 hours, it got "fixed" but later that day I started having problems again. I know it's not my router because other devices work with it perfectly, and because I have this problem anywhere I take my laptop. Another thing, if it is on ( like not even on the Internet) it seems to block the connection of iPods and phones, like stealing it. I've tried changing the network settings, e.t.c . I also noticed I'm not the only one with the same problem :/ Help!

anadiaze,
Try running the Finding System Information Tool and post the information back here. It may give us a better idea of what's happening.

ChokoLate,
Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.
Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Click on advanced and look and see if this adapter has antenna diversity, some adapters have it and some don't. If your adapter has antenna diversity, change it from auto to aux.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

ChokoLate,
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here?
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Make a system restore point.
Download the latest drivers from Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, then select your operating system and save the drivers to your desktop.
Start, control panel, device amanger, network adapter, right click on your wireless adapter, left click uninstall. Tell it to remove the drivers and software.
Restart your computer.
The new hardware wizard will try to install the adapter and probably fail. Install the drivers from your desktop and follow the instructions.
Can you connect?

Hello, thanks for helping me!
At first place I got a snapshot with ipconfig command. Second, I don´t have an antivirus yet. Third, I cannot make a system restore because this is a fresh installation of Windows 7. By four, you maybe help me to find the issue. At manage I don´t see the device error but found a Ethernet error driver, I cannot find that driver at list of Drivers & Downloads. Please, see two attached images.

ChokoLate,
Download and install in order(the order is IMPORTANT)...
Dell System Software
Intel HM57 Express Chipset Family
Intel Management Engine Interface
Realtek RTS5138 Card Reader
Then download and install...
Atheros AR8152 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller
Dell Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200
Intel (R) WiMAX Link 6250
Then download and install Dell QuickSet.
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled
Can you connect?
Can you run another Ipconfig /all log?
