Installing drivers and configuring DELL Inspiron 1520 for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Hi
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my Inspiron 1520 (Clean installation). The OS is working fine and most of the Drivers are working properly. The Wireless LAN is installed but the sometimes wireless networks are not detecting until the computer and access point are restarted several times. The situation is similar to the problem which I faced for Windows 7 in the following thread.

I like to know how to solve this error, where to find proper drivers and how to configure the laptop and OS to work properly.
Thank you very much.

JRulz,
I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings in my wireless router, I use channel 11. I would make a new SSID to make connecting easier. If you have other wireless devices, like printers, you'll need to set them up again.
