Intel ProSet Wireless 1XConfig.exe handle leak
I have a Latitude D810 which was delivered in February, with an Intel ProSet wireless network card. I have noticed that there is a process called 1XConfig.exe which is leaking handles, forcing me to reboot regularly (after a few days the process is using tens of thousands of handles, and as I always use Standby instead of rebooting, I am getting bitten!).
It seems that I can terminate 1XConfig.exe with no ill effects, but I wondered if anyone has come across this issue and found a solution. What is 1XConfig.exe used for? Is there an updated version available, etc.?
Regards.
