Is it possible to connect a printer to a wireless network

I have an Inspiron 5150 laptop; a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router; a Canon i550 printer and a Visioneer 9320 scanner, that are currently hooked up via USB ports.  I have the network up and running, but when I want to print something, I have to run back to the desk and reconnect the to the USB port.  Is there a way to print or scan without having to "plug-in" everytime?  Thank you.

I doubt you will find a way to scan except with a scanner connected to your system, but printing is no problem. I'm currently using a Linksys wps11, which is a wireless print server, connected to a HP6122 printer.

For my work today I purchased a Linksys wps54G wireless print server. The wps54g will operate wirelessly or can be plugged into an ethernet port and is supposed to support WPA2 [I haven't tried it yet).
