KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2400W Networking Problem with Windows XP is a Serious and HOT ISSUE
I could not make above printer to join to my wireless home network. I have XP Home and Professional. This printer is not willing to join to network through either platform. Current driver only recognizes the native USB 2.0 port when printer is directly connected to the computer.
I have a Linksys 54-G wireless printserver (model WPS54GU2) which has two ports - one parallel, and one USB 2.0. I've been trying to connect this printer to the printserver's USB 2.0 port from the printer's USB 2.0 port. So far I have been unsuccessful for the printer to recognize the printserver's port. Please help.
It is known to a few fortunate users that earlier driver version 1.2.928.0 is capable of solving above problem. If someone had done it successfully, please come forward to help by providing a link for the correct driver (Note: latest driver 1.3.701.0 does not work for networking which I already have), AND some instructions. Instructions are by far the most important here. Thanks
