No, usually it is fine until the server drops out...which it does a few times daily...then the problem starts all over again.

Once you get the router to obtain a valid IP address, why do you lose it?  Are you turning the router off?  If so, leave it on.

Have you tried contacting Linksys Tech Support?

I am waiting on hearing from them now.  I just thought I'd also post on the board to see if anyone had a similar problem!  Thank you. :)

Thanks for the advice about the hard reset.  I have tried that in the past and I just did again --- same result.  Thanks for the help though! :)

Have you tried a router hard reset?

I had a somewhat similar problem once with my WRT54G when I switched from cable to DSL and the router's PPPoE login was erratic.  The problem was fixed by a hard reset.  However, this cleared all customs configurations and restored to factory defaults, including reverting to default password admin, so I had to reconfigure afterwards (and this was before they added the function to save custom settings).

If you wish to try a hard reset, unplug all cables, press and hold the reset button at the back for 30 seconds before release (ignoring the status of LEDs at the front).  Reconnect the cables and login using the default password (see above) and reconfigure custom settings.  Good luck.
