Logitech mouse not recognized- bluetooth

I bought a logitech v270 mouse with my Inspiron 1705. Running Vista Home Premium.

- I downloaded Setpoint software from Logitech, installed.
- Have 355 Bluetooth. Recognized in device manager, bluetooth light on, all seems OK.
- Computer only recognized mouse once, for about 10 seconds. Will not recognize again.

- Checked Logitech forums. Others having simular problem.

Suggestions?

If this were Windows XP, I would suggest finding the Bluetooth Setup Wizard. In Xp there are several options... I ususally choose the second one (can't remember what it's labeled). Now, I have the Setup Wizard search for Bluetooth devices while holding the "discover" button on Mouse. My Microsoft Mouse has the button on the bottom of the Mouse its very small. Once setup discovers it , it will start to work. I assume Vista has a similar Wizard and Logitech has a "discover" button on it. Hope this helps to point you in the right direction.

I'm having the same problem with my Logitech V270 mouse (which I bought from Dell).  See http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_wireless&thread.id=37769 for details.
