Modem + WLAN-Card, does ist work in my D600?
Hi,
I´m from Germany, so excuse some gramma-faults;-) I bought a D600 second hand. It has no internal Modem and no WLAN. So I´m looking for a PCI-Card with both on board.
I saw some on the German "Ebay", would one of them work in my D600?

Hi,
Your machine has a socket for a modem under the palm-rest. It is called an MDC modem daughter card. The mini PCI socket is under the small door on the base. All the cables are installed, if you could find a combo of both there would be no connection to the phone socket. Have a look at Parts-people, they should have the correct modem. It should have been fitted, and may be disabled in your computer. The antenna's are also fitted.

There´s no way for modem connection via the pci-Slot, am I right? Ok, then I have to look for the normal modem and install it.
