More of a connection issue than a networking one.

Question

I bought a used latitude cpi and I got a D-link wireless card. The internet was working fine. Then the other day, my internet is down. I toggle with a few things, then I find out that verizon will reactivate it a few days later. So the internet is up again and on my laptop, THE WIFI CONNECTION IS FINE BUT THE INTERNET WON'T LOAD! Mozilla, IE, AIM, nothing! I contacted verizon and they said my computer will read ip adresses but not URLs or something like that. I need SERIOUS help!

DNS Domain Name Service seems not to be working correctly. Do you have another computer on this network which does work? If so, you could display and compare DNS settings. What do you learn from

IPCONFIG /ALL

with optional >My.TXT to capture the report to a file
