Network Path not Found
2 pcs with xp, get error saying network path not found, contact administrator of this service blah blah blah. I can see both pcs from one pcs in workgroup;, on the other the workgroup doesnt even show up but the router does. Ive done evrthing shown on the microsoft help site. I even followed the directions on homenethelp.com. I have a Dlink router di524 connecting these pcs via ethernet cable. any suggestions greatly appreciated. dlink tells me to call microsoft, microsoft tells me to call dlink.
network wizard has been run on both, any other suggestions? I use both pcs at the same time and could really benefit from this feature.thanks for the great forums.

On any computer running Windows XP with SP1, disable the Windows XP firewall. It will not allow File and Printer Sharing. On computers running Windows XP with SP2, make sure that the Windows XP firewall has File and Printer Sharing checked off on the Exceptions tab. If you are running any third party firewalls, like those provided by such programs as Zone Alarm, Norton Internet Security, or McAfee Security Center, make sure they are configured to allow local network traffic or disable them temporarily until you get the network to work, then configure them.
