You will need to replace the modem with one that can connect by ethernet. Routers that can connect to a modem by USB are nearly impossible to find, and even when you can find one, they are very very expensive. There are complicated alternatives, but my best advice is to consult your ISP and find out which ethernet modems are compatible with their system.
