Yes I just reinstall my operating system, my wireless function very well before the reinstallation. I did install chipset drivers, in fact, to make sure I am not missing anything, I intalled both chipsets in the link given above.
Still I am having this problem unresolved, I've been working on it the whole day now, can you help me more? Thanks.
Are you sure you have the Dell wireless network adapter? If you don't have the Dell adapter but instead have the Intel wireless, then that would explain why the file you downloaded doesn't work.
Did you recently reinstall Windows on this machine? If so, did you install the chipset drivers before attempting to install any other device drivers?

Which wireless network card do you have physically installed on that computer? Until you know which one it is, you won't know which drivers to install. You can go to the following link, enter your Service Tag number, then click on the Original Configuration tab to see a list of components shipped with your computer.
You have an Intel 2200 wireless network card (listed on the last line of the original configuration output). All drivers for you system can be found at:
There is only one chipset driver listed and your wireless card (Intel 2200) should be found under Network (just use the Intel Pro drivers which are applicable to all Intel wireless cards.
