Apparently when you hit the reset button on the back it does not revert to a default username and password. I got lucky and remembered my old password and was able to get back in.
thanks

Yes I know. I did hold it down for 30 seconds. It cleared the WPA password key and set ssid to default, but it did not clear username and password as it would if you did a reset with linksys firmware or ddwrt firmware. I am just glad I was able to get back in. I would put dd-wrt on it, but I think I am going to sell it, for I have others, and this was just an extra one I had laying around that I was experimenting with.

yuck ... if you ever forget your password (or get hacked and have it changed) then the only way you'd be able to regain access would be with a jtag cable.
actually ... you might also be able to flash by tftp right as it's booting
still, not a good system.
