P2P Networking Popup

Can't connect to the internet - keep getting a pop up that says P2P networking can't start - is there an easy solution to this - contacted Dell - they told me it was a Cable Modem problem - Cable Company says no - any help would be greatly appreciated - Have a Dell Inspiron 8500 (new) It is wired - should I post this on another message board?

Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall P2P and Kazaa.  Then, you should run a spyware scanner and get rid of all of the spyware and other parasites that are likely on your computer.

yep do as the man says.. p2p gets installed with kazaa..

try these  little tools for removing kazaa and spyware:

kazaabegone from  http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3446

spybot from http://spybot-spyware.com/

swatit from http://swatit.org/

then it whould be wise , if you havent already done so, to install a firewall . get yourself the free zonealarm  from
