PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver

My computer is a Dimension 2400.  I recently got it out of storage, and tried to set up the internet through dial-up.  It wouldn't set up because it said there was no modem on my computer.  I know for a fact that there at least used to be, because I used it for dial-up previously.  So... I checked the Device Manager, no modem.  So on the advice of a friend, I took out the card that I plug the phone line into, and moved it up a notch to force the computer to recognize the new hardware.  It recognized it, and went to install the driver, but there is no driver software for a PCI Simple Communications Controller on my computer.  Does anyone know where I can find it?

Go to support.dell.com and plug in your service tag (or your model number) and go to the downloads page. Click on modems and download the drivers needed for your modem.

Thanks for that advice. You were spot on. Even after loading the chipset drivers, still had problems. Went to w/site and downloaded required drivers. It's so nice to be back on the net!!!!
