Preventing Windows from checking license
Everything working great. Dimension 8100.
Have been getting the following message on Start-up.
"A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this computer.
Error code: 0x80090019
Thank you for your help.

We encounted this same problem tonight & we restarted our computer in safe mode & did a Systems Restore at which time we found that Windows XP Service Pack 3.0 had been automatically downloaded & installed at 3am & that seems like it was the culprit because after we restored to a checkpoint before that download, my computer is now up & running again!
