Printing From Internet
Question: Recently changed from dial-up AOL, to Hi-Speed Satelitte Internet Explorer. Now when I print from the internet the pages are in HTML. (When I printed from Internet utilizing AOL, received regular page.) I'm sure there's a setting that needs to be changed, but I don't know where or which one. Can anyone assist?
Thanks - Bonnie

Instead of printing just a sentence, ie - Hi there how are you - from the internet I actually have print out
Hi there how are you
So the entire screen of what I would like to print from the internet such as a recipe or in most cases a shipping label, prints in HTML language.
Hope that makes sense - any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Bonnie

Here's what someone said fixed IE7 (might be same proceedure for IE6):
Make sure IE7 is the default browser. Select START>SET PROGRAM ACCESS and
DEFAULTS. I found that all the defaults were still set to non-IE7 settings
(ie, AOL was still the setting).
Also, check the file type associations to print HTML documents. Open
Windows Explorer, select the TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS menu, FILE TYPES tab, and
scroll down to URL. Select the ADVANCED BUTTON, choose the PRINT command, and
click the EDIT button. The command to print should read something like:
rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\mshtml.dll,PrintHTML "%1"
If you've already set the default browser to IE7, this print command should
already be changed for you..
That's all it really took to clear the problem. Obviously, you'll want to
uninstall as much of AOL as you possibly can (it's ALL OVER your computer)
before doing this.
