Problems connecting WiFI with Thomson router
I have a Dell 1710 (?) which connects quite happily via WiFi at various locations. But I have 2 problems - both are Thomson routers so at moment I'm assuming it s the same problem. I can connect ok with the ethernet cable but not WiFi (Thomson router - TG585). Computer sees router and looks like its connected but then fails. Any suggestions? In VERY simple language please ....

Scots way hay,
Try login to your wireless router, you may have to do this with the ethernet cable.
How to login to your wireless router and try using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings, I use channel 11.
Make sure you have enough ip addresses to be able to use and do NOT use Mac address filtering.
