Problems with NICs while undocking D600

I've got a rather strange problem with our D600 laptops.  When they are on the docking station the Broadcom NIC and the Dell 1300 Wireless NIC work great.  But once we undock them they refuse to renew their addresses.  They always come up with 0.0.0.0 and never deafult to the 169.x.x.x addresses.  It's like they are in a constant state of DHCP renewal.  I have tried undocking them by using the Eject button on the top of the docking station and also by using Eject PC in the Win2k Start Menu with the same results.

The strangest part is that if I put the machine into standby and take it off the docking station the NICs work fine.  Any ideas?  These are all brand new D600s we received about two weeks ago.

Nevermind I have a fix for it.  It's Microsoft KB Article 818635.  You have to call can get the hotfix but it seems to be working well now.
