Question about removing wireless card on a 660 desktop

I just purchased a dell 660 (non slim version) and want to remove the wireless card as it will never be used. Would it be ok to remove the single screw / card + the two antenna wires and then leave it like that?

Hi,

When removing the Wireless card from the computer it is recommended that you entirely remove the Wireless Card from the Motherboard, leave the screw threaded to the motherboard for future use and properly route the antenna cables so that they do not make contact with any other component and short them. For details on steps to remove the Wireless card please refer to the Service Manual. Also, go through the "Before You Begin" section of the Service Manual before removing any internal components. You can view/download the Service Manual from here.

Hope this helps.
