RUNDLL32.EXE Start up application error

Re: Inspiron 6000

Upon startup I get an error message that says that I have a RUNDLL32.EXE Application Error.  It has done this since the machine was new.  The machine is 3 or 4 months old.  All of my programs seem to be running fine except the machine begins running slow as the day goes on.  I have a gig of memory and 100 gig HD.  How can I get rid of this error or do I even need to bother.

It would be quite helpful if you posted the full and exact text of the error message?  Is this really a problem with Networking?  If it is a Windows problem, you might want to consider posting the full and exact text of the error message in the Software - Windows XP forum where there is a lot more traffic.

It can't be it in its entirety because it says nothing about rundll32!!!!!  Please post the full text of the error message all in the same message!!!!

The error notification reads:

The instruction at " 0x101302c8" referenced memory at "0x00000000".  The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program

I guess I don't quite know how to comply with you.  I have quoted the text in the error box exactly.  The title of the error box in in the title of this thread.
