Reloaded XP and now I can't get internet

I recently reloaded XP and I have a yellow ? next to the ethernet controller.  I've downloaded the drivers and no change.  Any recommendations?

  jrk03101,

When you reloaded XP, did you install the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

You should be able to start with the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers and install the drivers in order. Everything should start working.

I downloaded everything in order except for the desktop system utility.  I tried going back and starting over with no success.  Do I need to somehow uninstall items to reload the drivers properly?

jrk03101,

You have to start with the desktop system utility, chipset drivers and install them right down the list. they MUST be installed again.
