Reset 1355 CNW settings to configure wireless
We purchased a 1355 CNW printer and have somehow messed up the settings. We can't get the wireless to configure. There is already a PIN code in there and it's not the right code. We have changed some settings so we probably entered the wrong information. Is there a way to reset the printer back to original factory settings so we can start over? Then shouldn't it pick up the wireless automatically when you configure the wireless under the WPS setting?

Please refer to the User Guide of this Printer. It has the steps listed to reset the printer back to Factory Defaults. This should help you resolve the issue.

I have tried to reset it. When you go to get the IP address from the menu on the printer, it won't give an IP address. When you ask for IPv4 address, it says to reboot the printer. It's recognizing the wireless and when you try to set it up manually, it doesn't not give the IP address.

Hi LisaW183,
Please share if you are trying to setup the printer for a particular system or on network. Also, please refer to page number 53 of the User Manual where the steps are listed for manually assigning the an IP address (IPv4 Mode). It suggest the use of Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool for manually assigning the IP Address. Follow the set of instructions and check if you are able to configure the printer.
