SSID & 128 bit WPA encryption
How do I set the SSID and 128 bit WPA encryption key for the wireless network adapter built into the Inspirion 8600?

Assuming you are using Windows to manage the wireless network, open Network Connections, right click on your wireless connection and select "View Available wireless networks". In the left hand pane, click on "Change the order of preferred networks". Clikc on the Add button and enter the SSID and encyryption there.
