Screen Mirroring

My Dell will simply not mirror any more. I've tried my Microsoft Display Adaptor, Roku, and Firestick. All worked 6 months ago. Connection starts but does not complete. I know problem is in Dell but have tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions? Perhaps a third party app to mirror????     Thanks
