Setting up Apache HTTP server

I think i'm almost there in terms of setting up a HTTPd server with Apache, but i don't know the details. Here is what i have done basically:

1) I got the Apache server running
2) I setup a hostname at www.dyndns.org (alen.mine.nu)
3) I changed my router configuration to forward port 80 to my server, 192.168.0.100

Now what do i do? Going to http://alen.mine.nu doesn't do anything. I can, however, access http://192.168.0.100 internally.

Get the dynDNS updater here and this will keep the ip address updated if you do not have a static IP address.

Some routers act funny when you try to connect to their external IP from the internal network. i.e. if your external IP is 66.87.94.34, and you try to connect to http://66.87.94.34/ from the internal network, port forwarding will break.

Also, some ISPs will block incoming connections to port 80.

I already have a dyndns updater, but that updates my external ip, and then i can't connect to the server. And i don't think my isp is blocking port 80.

I could however make some pictures of what i have done so far in my routers. If interested?

As I mentioned, even if your ISP doesn't block port 80, even if everything is set up properly, some routers just don't behave well if you try to access your external IP from an internal machine. Sadly, to properly test it, you need to actually attempt connecting from an outside machine.

Why don't you try connecting to my server?

I have no idea on how i can fix this. Here's my configuration in the Netopia and D-link router:

1) http://anigma.sitees.com/ruter.jpg
2) http://anigma.sitees.com/endre.jpg
3) http://anigma.sitees.com/nat.jpg
4) http://anigma.sitees.com/dlink.jpg

And this is what the Status indicates in my D-link, http://anigma.sitees.com/d-link.jpg
