Sharing internet access with a PDA
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 P4 2.8GHz PC and a 768kbps DSL internet connection. I want to be able to browse the internet using my PDA. What are my options? How does a wireless HUB actually work? or shall I say, what is the cheapest stuff I could buy to enable this task?
I'm sure some of you guys have heard about Wi-Fi. I've got a girlfriend over at the Philippines and she's going to sign up for Wi-Fi internet service. I've asked the company about PDA's with Wi-Fi built in...and they said the service wouldn't work on PDA's. Is this possible? I thought Wi-Fi is supposed to cover the entire house, right? She will also need a Wi-Fi receiver I assume to connect it to her computer's ethernet port. Please enlighten me on these stuff:smileysad:

Wi-Fi?? Seems like I have heard of that. Try these links.

The PDA will have to have a Compact Flash connection to the wireless router or a Bluetooth connection.
