Shortcut for VPN Connection

I just got a new Dell Laptop running Windows 7.  I successfully set up a VPN connection to work.  What I want is to create a shortcut to this connection on my desktop.  The only thing I was able to do was create a shortcut to the Network and Sharing Center.  You then have to go a few clicks from here to make the connection.  It used to be easy in XPS.

Any Ideas?
