Super G Mode Setting with Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card(54Mbps)

I am trying to configure a D-Link router with my Inspiron E1705 9400 laptop. The laptop has a Dell wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card. My question is which one of the four following Super G Mode settings should I use when configuring my router for best performance with the mini card installed in my laptop - (1) Disable, (2) Super G without Turbo, (3) Super G with Dynamic Turbo, or (4) Super G with Static Turbo? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Since your Dell card is not compatible with any SuprerG mode, I would suggest disabling it on the router.

Hi, I have an Inspiron E1505 (WIN XP-Media Center) and a Dlink WBR 2310 router nd from the postings it seems this is one common problem with the model.I am not able to get online although my wireless signal's strength shows excellent from the wireless connectivity status. Re-installation of the drver for Dell 1390 Mini card and power cycling the router and modem haven't solved the problem. The router is working as my desktop which uses a wired connection through the same router opens web pages properly. The LAN and WAN IPs are not same either. My ipconfig/all output is at the bottom of my post. I am not able to log into my routers configuration page through the notebook or any website for that matter. I see someone suggested the winsock fix but since it is not from an authentic party is it ok to install it? Before that though it has to be figured out what is wrong with my notebook. Thanks for your help! Ron _____________________________________________________ Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp. C:\Documents and Settings\RB>cd.. rendezvous0309,

You are posting to threads where the problem has already been solved or the problem being discussed is different from yours.  You may have noticed that I generally don't reply to people who try to get help with a new problem in the same thread.  This is because it usually gets very confusing dealing with more than one problem in the same thread and because it is not very considerate of the person who started the thread.  If you want help with your problem, you should start a new thread, rather then replying to existing threads.
