Unable to start Intel WiFi technology

A few weeks ago my WiDi quit working unless I restarted my computer.

Now it won't work at all. When I click on Intel WiDi on the start menu, it gives the error "unable to start intel WiFi technology.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Calvin

Hi Pipepeddler,

You can go ahead and uninstall and reinstall the Intel WIDI from you system and check for issue resolution. Please refer to the link below to run ‘Intel Driver Update Utility’by clicking ‘Check your system for latest updates’ which will download the latest Intel WIDI for your system.

Please let me know if this helps.

Sorry, this doesn't help. When I check for latest updates, all of my software show "current".

Any other ideas?

Hi Pipepeddler,

Intel my Wi-Fi technology is wireless card driver and Intel WIDI uses this application I would advise you to uninstall and reinstall the wireless card drivers on your
system to check for issue resolution.

Please follow the link below. When the page comes up please put in the service tag of your computer. Then go ahead and download the Intel wireless card driver from network section in the link below.
