Verizon DSL setup

I have a new 600M laptop being built for me and want to network with my Verizon DSL and desktop (Demension 2100). I plan on purchasing a Lynksys G router, my question is do I just use the CD that came with my DSL kit that I used on my desk top in my new laptop to get wireless? Any tips greatly welcomed.

You won't use the CD that came with the dsl connection at all.  You will be connecting your dsl modem to the WAN or Internet port on the router, you will connect your current PC to one of the LAN ports on the router, and the new laptop will connect wirelessly.  Follow the directions that come with the router.
