Vostro 3460 Lan problem

Hi,

my Vostro 3460:

core i5 -  3210M

4G RAM

nVidia 630M

windows 7 64bits sp1

All drives are from dell.com

And if i run a program use nVdia vga like Bluestack (i tested many program), sometimes, my Lan card disappear from device manage.

I must restart to resolve. Maybe one time, maybe many times.

Does my mainboard have an error or something else?

Thank you and sorry if my english is so bad.

takid1412,

Download and install in this exact order or use the drivers disk that came with the system

ST Microelectronics Free Fall Sensor Driver

Intel Chipset Driver

Intel Management Engine Interface Driver

Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver

Realtek RTS5179GR USB2.0 Card Reader Driver

Then download and install

Atheros AR8161/8165/8162/8166/8168 Ethernet Controller Driver

Go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag, then click on original configuration. Look and see which adapter you have installed. The go to  Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, select your operating system, click on network and downlaod and install the drivers for your adapter.

Then download and install Dell Quickset Application

Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

takid1412,

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.

Try these tweaks....

Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.

Click on advanced. Look for antenna diversity. Change it from Auto to Aux.

Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

Rick,

Thanks for your answer

but my problem is about [01]: Qualcomm Atheros AR8161/8165 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
Connection Name: Local Area Connection

I tried fresh windows install and lastest driver last week, i did same thing like your post with my Qualcomm... And that problem is still here.

When that card missing, i saw a second High Definition Audio with yellow. It use PCI bus of missing card.

takid1412,

Ah, a fresh install of Windows. I read that you installed Windows Original Install Date: 10/2/2013

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

Rick,

I've tried to install a fresh windows and driver in right order.

But nothing is changed.

Now Ethernet card only show about 30sec after logon to window.

The newest change i did is update bios from dell. Do you know the original version of my laptop? its service tag is . I find so many version.

Specially, at now, when my card disappear, the internet of other computer in Lan are down until i unplug my cable.

I'm so tired and i don't think it's just software problem. How do you think?

Thanks,
