WPA encryption
I have a 300m with a TrueMobile 1300 internal card running through a TrueMobile 2300 router. Dell support said that WPA encryption is not currently working with this configuration and had me set up WEP. Is support wrong? It appears from the Dell site that WPA is available for my configuration.
Thanks for your insight.

I have Win XP Home and recently installed the Trumobile 2300 wireless router for my high speed DSL broadband. So far, only a few hitches - though I think I got lucky at setup.
First, the Trumobile icon on my screen will not function. It is orange-ish and when I click it it tries to detect my network connection, but eventually gives up and tells me it can't find a connection. Odd, because I've been working successfully with the 2300 for about a week, now included.
Secondly, I can connect with the online configuration webpage and make changes as needed. I can also find my wireless b/g Dell minicard settings for setting up WPA encryprion. What I don't know is how to proceed. I am fearful of losing connection to the router, and I did have exactly that problem with a SMC Barricade router - no thank you to repeating that hassle. As I am using a Dell wireless card on a Dell laptop with Dell installed WinXP to connect via a Dell router it seems to me that there should be much clearer instructions. Instead all I find is vague and generally evasive support on this issue.
Any guidance available is appreciated. I would like to have WPA encryption and it would be interesting to know what the 2300 Control Utility can do, when working properly.
Last point, not directly connected but somewhat related: when looking for a firewall to replace the impossible Norton Security firewall, I checked around several websites and came across a name unknown to me: Armor2Net. It is not free but does give a 30 day free trial, and is not expensive to register. I tried it and I registered for a year. Simple, has a stealth mode option, and when I tested it at several firewall test sites it proved to offer great protection. Anyone out there familiar with this firewall, any comments? The website is: www.armor2net.com
