Which Mini PCI?

I have an 8200 and use a Linksys PCI network card. I would like to install an internal mini pci network card and saw these 3 available at Dell:

NTEL - PRO Wireless 2200 802.11b/g Mini PCI Card

DELL - Wireless 1350 802.11b/g WLAN Mini PCI Notebook Card

DELL - Wireless 1450 802.11a/b/g WLAN Mini PCI Notebook Card

Would any of these work on my 8200?

The network currently uses 802.11.b but I may upgrage the computers and router eventually.

What are the major differences in the 3 cards (yes I read the description but was looking for laymans terms :)?

Are there known flaws for any of them?

Any other options?

Thanks for any help!

My experiences are anecdotal, but...

I've used the Dell TM1300 and the Intel mini PCI's for wireless in my 8200. (my very first notebook!)

I found the Intel product to be much more reliable and problem-free than the Dell counterparts.
hop that helps!

And to add to Don's info, any mini-PCI card will work.  I agree with Don on his recommendation.  It has the nice side benefit of being a bit cheaper also.  Do load the Intel driver, do not load the Pro Set Utility, let Windows handle the wireless connections, and make sure your XP is at SP2 first.

I am using the Dell 1350 mini PCI in my laptop. It is rock solid for me and it works great on my 2 different networks, both wireless.(2 different houses, I just walk in and connect) :smileyhappy:

As an added note I use my LT 98% of the time these days.

yes, all of those will work.
I still like the Intel products the best.

I connect with a Linksys router at home, cisco at work, and whatever starbucks uses, and it's problem free with the intel cards.
