Which modem?
My modem was struck my lightining last night. I need to replace it. I want to make sure that I get the same or better. It was an Intel(r) 537EP V9xDF PCI Modem. Any suggestions?

It will be easy get a replacement modem "as good or better" than the Intel 537EP modem. Any inexpensive PCI modem will be just as good. Here are a few examples of comparable modems:
