Windows Defender

At start-up, a screen appears along with a dull "boink" sound. The screen says:

Windows Defender

Application failed to initialize: Ox800106ba. A problem caused this program's service to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help and Support for how to start a service manually.

I've searched H&S and found nothing about starting a service manually. I've restarted the computer to no avail. This message appeared immediately after I installed McAfee. How do I fix this?

To start a service manually, click on the start orb in the search box type   services.msc. This will bring up the services window. Scroll down to the defender listing. Double click on the line and another window will pop up where you can select the button to start the service.

I would also  suggest you get in contact with the Mcaffee support on this issue.
