Windows ME and memory
I am a Mac person and my wife is the one with the PC so I doing the research on the following question (which probably has been asked before)...
Is there a fix to the "memory leak" under Windows ME? I have 512MB installed which I believe is the maximum amount of physical RAM that can be installed in the Dell Dimension 4100 tower model. I did a search on the web and some people say that there is a fix but you have to beg(?) for it from Microsoft and others say that there is no fix and Microsoft is turning a blind eye to the problem.
Also, I have heard of programs like MemMonster, Clean Ram Professional and MemTurbo that can fix or minimize this problem. Do these (or any other) programs really help? So far I heard mixed reviews about these software.
