Without knowing the model of your computer and the model of your wireless card, it is difficult to provide any detailed suggestions.  You likely have either a Dell wireless card or an Intel wireless card.  Open the wireless utility that is specific to the brand of wireless card, and check the box to let Windows manage your wireless connection.

Hi,

You would have Dell/Intel wireless card. Both Dell & Intel cards come with their own utility. Above that Windows XP gives you Wireless Zero Config. If Dell/Intel Card Utility is running, wireless zero config would give you the above message.

You need to go to the Card utility and ask the utility to Connect / Use Microsoft Client. Check the Let's windows manage your network under your wireless network connection properties window - Wireless networks tab.

Let us know in case if this does'nt fix.

Hope this helps!
