Are you trying to set this up with software? If so, try using the Web based configuration utility as outlined in the users guide for your router. If they have not changed the software since the previous model (TM 2300), then the software if very buggy and you are better off manually setting up the network.
After having spent 2 hours on the phone with my ISP it would seem that the router is not working properly.
They are trying to send the address and the router is not recieving it. The router doesn't even have a configuration for dynamic DSL which is what I apparently have. I'm thinking this is just not the proper modem for the DSL I have, so I will have to try to find a wired only modem.
While you may be right the router does not work, let me point out that ALL routers are capable of dynamic dsl. Unfortunately, Dell has not yet publised the Users Guide for the 2350 on its web site, so I cannot open the Users guide and read it to you. You, on the other hand, do have access to the User's Guide. Please open it and read the section on the Web Based Configuration Utility. It will tell you how to access the router from within a web browser and how to set up the required PPPoE connection for your dsl modem.
Either call Dell Tech Support and have them replace the router, or purchase a new one. There are good reports on routers from Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, and Belkin. Not so good reports on routers from Dell.
Alright, I have already gone through this several times and it hasn't worked. I'd like to point out that I did mention I had looked at it, and my ISP provider tech support person looked at it and it still did no good.
