Wireless Linksys router and notebook card

Question

I have and Inspiron 1100, Linksys wireless router and Linksys wireless external card. I can bring up Internet Explorer, but cannot open any web pages. I have contacted Dell and Linksys and have gotten no solution. If anyone has any info that may help my problem, I would appreciate it.

I have the same setup and it works without a problem. There are many things that could be wrong. For starters, make sure that:

1) You have the latest driver download from Linksys

2) Your Linksys setup is correct, i. e., DHCP, etc.

3) Your WEP encryption setup is the same on the router and wireless cards

4) Your firewall has all your network IP addresses as trusted IPs
