Wireless connection and MSN/IRC problems

Question

Hi, I've got a problem that I think relate to my internatl TrueMobile 1150 Mini-PCI card. I use MSN everyday, and often people complain to me that I don't answer their messages etc., but the cause is that I've haven't recieved any messages from them. This also happends the other way, I send people messages, and they don't answer me because they can't see what I've been writing. This also happends on IRC, when I connect to a server I get timed out after a while, for no apparent reason. I've got a Inspiron 4100 with a TrueMobile Mini-PCI card(as said) connected to a 3Com OfficeConnect 11g router. Three other computers are also connected to this router, and they don't experience any problems. When I'm running the Network Stumbler-application to see a graph of my connection signal rate, I can see that there are small periods where I don't get any signal from the router at all. Apart from this the signal rate is around 90%(Very Good/Excellent). Has anyone experienced the same problem and have a solution? All drivers are up to date both network, bios, chipset etc., running XP SP2(this problem existed before I installer SP2).

Both could be caused by Spam filtering ?

You think so? I can't see why, since there are no spam-filters in my machine, in the router or at the ISP-side.
