Wireless internet connection for Linux
I have installed the Linux Mint operating system on my Inspiron 1501 to run alongside the XP system that I have used for years.
Using Linux I am unable to connect to internet by wifi, the Fn and F2 keys not acting to light the wifi indicator. The wifi works as before when I use XP.
Can anyone tell me why?

Hi Gwarbu2000,
I would recommend taking a look at this thread on the Linux Mint Forum: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=89859
From the looks of it they're describing your exact issue and have solutions listed to get WiFi working with Mint.
I hope this helps,
Brad
