bcmwltry.exe error, pls help

Hello Everyone

 

 I have a brand new dell inspiron 1525 with windows home premium i keep getting an error about bcmwltry.exe.First i got a windows message saying "Dell wireless WLAN card wireless network controller stopped working and was closed.A problem caused the application to stop working correctly.Windows will notify you if a solution is available.".I keep getting this message everytime i boot up.I ignored it since till now i can connect wirelessly.

 

 Later i got an error with the following information:

 

 Problem Event Name: Appcrash

 Application name: bcmwltry.exe

 Application version: 4.170.25.12

 Application timestamp: 46f3437a

 Fault module name: stackhash_2fb3

 

 I have a dell wireless 1395 WLAN mini card software version 4.170.25.12

 driver version: 4.170.25.17

 

 It's very annoying i keep getting this error everytime i boot up so any help would be very much appreciated.Thanks in advance.

try uninstalling and reinstallling your wireless adapter driver. go here  and get the latest driver for your card.

download the file but do not run it yet.

open device manger and go to the network adapter line. righ click on the wireless listing select properties and then uninstall. if necessary reboot

Then run the file you downloaded to reinstall the driver

Hi Davet,

 

 Thank you for replying to my message.I will download the latest driver like you mentioned and i hope this problem will go away because it is very annoying and i keep getting it everytime i boot up.Thanks again for helping me.

Has anyone tried this solution? Please let me know if its working. I am also facing the same issue once i logged into my system. But wireless is working fine for me.

I've tried the solution and it didn't work for me.
