cant detect wierless networks wifi
Hey, i am using Dell inspiron model N4050 my laptop does not seem to detect any wireless networks around and i am unable to connect to wifi, networks works fine with ethernet cable.My drivers are up to date.I have done and tried everything i know of.i need help
I typed "cmd ipconfig /all" and that's what I received.

Try...
Start, control panel, device manager, then clicked on network, right clicked on the your network adapter you should see...
Left click Uninstall
Restart your computer.
After you login, the new hardware wizard will find your network adapter and install it for you.

Hey Rick,
i tried uninstalling and reinstalling network adaptors and reinstalled them as you said, it does not seem to work thanks.

Strange that the wireless adapter is not getting an ip address.
Try reading...
Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers
Your wireless router, is it using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11. I would make a new SSID to make connecting easier. You are NOT using Mac address filtering, correct?
