i need ethernet controller drivers for dimension 3000

Question

After I reinstall my OS. I can not connect to my DSL. It said it can not find the ethernet controller. I saw somebody ask same help for Dimension 2400. I have no idea if I could use the same driver that bigbrother gave the link for my dimension 3000?  Please help me. THX. Message Edited by gracetx on 12-25-2005 01:28 AM

DIM 2400 seems to have Broadcom NIC and DIM 3000 has Intel.

on my order it said I have 'Network interface   integrated 10/100 Ethernet' And have ' Video card   Integrated Intel extreme graphics 2', there are so many driver for video card, which one should I choose? Since I can not adjust resolution, do I need install video card driver? I have displace CD driver they gave to me, but that does not work. Thanks for your help!!!!

gracetx First, if you have re-installed your operating system you will need to install the chipset drivers before all others. If, everything in your DIM 3000 is default from the factory, than you need this driver installed first... The Dell website lists only one network adapter driver for the DIM 3000:

I have installed those two file. Now the DSL works. Thanks so much. But I can not adjust the screen resolution. Maybe I need install video card driver? There is so many choice, which one should I download? THX.
