Do you have any security settings enabled on your router?  If so, temporarily disable them until you are sure you can connect, then go back in an re-enable them, one at a time, making sure your wireless connection properties conform to the settings on the router.  Can you see your wireless network if you go into Network Connections, right click on your wireless connection and select "View available wireless networks"?  Are you sure your wireless radio is turned on?  The Fn F2 key combination toggles it on and off.

Sorry, but I do not answer questions by email.

Are you sure the wireless radio is turned on?  Is your router set to hide the SSID of the network?  If so, unhide it in the router set up.

The Fn F2 key combination toggles the wireless radio on and off.  As for the security settings (SSID broadcasting, MAC Address filtering, WEP or WPA encryption) only you will know whether or not you set these up on the router.   If you have doubts, get out the router manual and see how to these features are enabled or disabled.  If you are unsure, you can press and hold the reset button on the router to force it back to its default settings with no security features enabled.

To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

This is pretty useless to me because it looks like you ran it while you were connected by ethernet directly to the cable modem.  Since what we are trying to find out is why the wireless connection will not work through the router,  you need to run it with the cable modem connected to the router (not a computer).  Note also that this tells me that you are changing the device connecting to the cable modem.  If you are doing this, you need to reset the modem everytime you change the connection as the cable modem will remember the device that was last connected to it and will not allow a newly connected device to have access to the internet.  Everytime you make the switch, you need to do a complete reset of the network. To do this, shut everything off. Wait about 5 minutes. Turn on the modem first, and wait another 5 minutes. Then turn on the device that is connected directly to the modem (either the router or the computer), then turn on any other computers that will connect through the router.

I don't see how you can be connected.  With that icpconfig output, it shows that you are not getting an IP address.  What's going on?

Please do an ipconfig /all again when the network is working so I can see what is going on.  Have you eliminated the possiblity of interfrerence from 2.4 Ghz cordless phones, microwave ovens, or fluorescent light fixtures?
