latitude C610 - wireless network problem - linksys
I hope someone can plz help!!! just purchased a latitude C610 from ebay - we already have a wireless network-desktop with a inspiron 3800 & inspiron E1505 - linksys wrt54G router and wpc-11 notebook adapter(the E1505 is internal) - everything is working just fine - till the latitude - I tried putting the notebook adapter into one of the left side slots - the software doens't auto load if I boot it - the network CD doesn't auto load - it works fine hooked to the dsl line(sbc/at&t) - but I can't get anything with the wireless network - the os is windows xp professional - please help - I've been working on this for hours ----- thanks

I assume you mean a PC card wireless network adapter.
You stated that the CD does not automatically start. When that happens for me, I just RIGHT-click and Explore and then find the Autorun executable and run it (or a Setup program).

As you said a wired connection to the Latitude works fine, go ahead and download the drivers for the card from the Linksys website. For WPC11, the link for drivers is as below
go to www.linksys.com -- Support -- Select Downloads -- Selct WPC11 with ver from drop down -- Click on Drivers and follow the download instructions that you get on the screen.
