my Yahoo mail won't let me in...please help me!!

I have done everything..even tried to restore my computer. talked with microsoft who says it's yahoo's problem.  Yahoo says it is my computer problem.  Someone help me!!

emailed to Microsoft yesterday.  I have been on this computer too long now.  I need help!

I hope that you can help me.  For two days now I haven't been able to get into my yahoo email account.  I can get into my yahoo messenger with a problem.  I click on the tab (envelope) in my messenger to go to my mail and it asks me to sign in...never did that before.  I do go to sign in and it keeps asking me for my password which hasn't changed in a few months.  I tried to get into my mail via another computer and was successful.  Everytime I try to get into my email on this computer I keep getting kicked back to the sign in screen to re enter my password.  I have even tried to just go straight from the yahoo website and sign in there and it kicks me back to the main website without even trying to go to my mail.  I uploaded internet explorer 7.0 yesterday to see if that was the problem but it is still the same problem.  My husband also has a yahoo mail account and his was doing the same thing.  He even went as far as to change his password but it still kicked him back to the main (homepage) website to "check mail".  I hope that you can help or at least point me in the right direction to fix this.  I can get on other websites no problem.  Just yahoo mail is the issue here.  Like I said, I can use yahoo messenger no problem too.  Just can't get to my mail or settings or anything that requires me to sign in except messsenger.  HELP!  Thanks.

I have tried that, downloading firefox and it still won't let me in.  Anything else I can do?

I was having a similar issue a couple of months ago and I had inadvertently clicked the "keep me signed in" box on the Yahoo mail sign in page.  It would not let more than one yahoo account open at a time.

Try something simple, might help, but if it doesn't it won't be invasive anyway.

Delete temp files, cookies, etc....maybe their is a conflict somewhere.

Thanks all, I have done everything.  I ended up having to restore my system like it just came out of the box.  I have two viruses (trojan) and a bunch load of spyware.  Dell technicians helped me big time.  It is worth the money!  Kind of stinks though that I have to start all over again.  But now I have a bunch load of memory....lol.  It only took a couple of hours on the phone (if that).  To give this thing a good kick in the pants.  But working with this thing without any help was costing me.  Sitting here for 12 hours everyday for the past five days was taking a toll on me.  Dell said "Do this, Do this, Do this" and 'poof', it was fixed.  Yippee for Dell, they know their stuff.  Again thanks for the tips.

Sorry to hear you had to start from scratch again, but glad that you got the problem solved.

It's nice to hear good stories about Dell Tech Support rather than all the nightmares.

Even though I started from scratch....My hubby is doing a scan last night to detect spyware and we are still getting some.  Why would that be?  Yeah Dell has been really helpful since I had to restart too.  They are making sure that I am getting my stuff back by talking with microsoft.  I am still getting error reports on IE7.  I am gonna try to go back to IE6.  Unfortunately I keep getting kicked out by a microsoft internet explorer problem....Did IE7 get all their bugs worked out yet?  Thanks for all your help people!!!  I still have hair left on my head...didn't pull all of it out over this.
